We expect sun & fun! We also trust that God is working behind the scenes here, and we can’t wait to see what He has in store for us.

Women's Ministry Response to COVID-19 News
Hi ladies,
Thank you so much for your prayers and patience this week as we navigate through current events.
Pastor John and the Calvary staff are genuinely concerned about the health of our church family. In light of today’s news from President Trump declaring a ‘national emergency’, our Women’s Ministry has made a few decisions. We didn’t make these decisions from a place of fear, but from a place of responsibility. We want to be proactive with the news and guidelines we have been given, and to protect those who are most vulnerable in our community.
CHOSEN BIBLE STUDY:
Women’s Friday bible study will be streamed LIVE with Michelle. You can watch LIVE on the CCSJC app or from our website www.calvarywomen.net.
Ladies from Monday night bible study can watch a recording of the study also from the CCSJC app or on www.calvarywomen.net.
REVIVE WOMEN’S CONFERENCE:
After much prayer, we’ve decided to reschedule our conference. Mark your calendars for JULY 17 and JULY 18. We are so excited that our speakers are available for us that weekend! Add REVIVE to your calendars for July and plan ahead to attend! The messages that our speakers have for us is so rich, so life-giving and transforming that we know that the devil is working overtime for us not to hear them. BUT we are confident that the Lord is working behind the scenes, making this an amazing event for you.
If you have ANY QUESTIONS, please call us at 949-443-2572 or email us at calvarywomen@ccjsc.com.
For the full statement from Pastor John regarding our MAIN SERVICES and other ministry gatherings, please visit www.calvarysjc.com.
Be encouraged and reassured that we will be back in fellowship again soon. Pray for those who are sick and afraid. May we use this time to reflect and act on how to bless other outside of our church community. May God help us to be bold in sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ to a world that is living in fear.
God bless you, ladies! We love you.

REVIVE Women's Conference
Who needs a shot of encouragement? I know I do! We are living in perilous times and we all need some encouragement to keep us going. What we really need is to be REVIVED!
To Revive is to regain life, consciousness, or strength. To bring back life. We are living in a day where many believers have been lulled into a state of unconsciousness - No longer energetic for Jesus, or conscious of His coming. Many of us are barely hanging on are on the verge of giving up.
If that describes you - there’s hope! You aren’t alone! In fact, you might be surprised who feels the same way as you!
Come join us for the REVIVE Women’s Conference here at Calvary Chapel San Juan Capistrano on Friday, March 27 and Saturday, March 28, 2020. We will be encouraged by the amazing testimonies of Naghmeh Panahi, formerly married to jailed Iranian pastor, Saeed Abedini. She will share of her 3 1/2 years in the wilderness after her husband’s release from an Iranian prison. You might remember Naghmeh who spoke before the United Nations pleading for her husband’s release. But there is so much more to her story than the media portrayed and we will get to hear it from Naghmeh herself.
We will also hear from actress, singer and songwriter Cozi Zuehlsdorff as she shares her message of hope for those struggling with anxiety and depression. We will hear from pastor’s wife, Brenda Leavenworth as well as, actress/singer Brennley Brown.
God bless you!

His Vessels
“But the jar he was making did not turn out as he had hoped, so he crushed it into a lump of clay again and started over.” Jeremiah 18:4 NLT
Aren’t you glad that the Master Potter, Jesus, didn’t leave you a messed up, lopsided, leaky pot? When we first come to Him we have cracks and issues. But He doesn’t leave us in that condition. He starts fresh and begins to mold a new vessel with His hands that will be useful for His kingdom. To start fresh He must smash the clay and begin again... not with a new lump of clay, but with the same one.
As He molds the clay and makes the vessel He will need plenty of water to keep the clay pliable. Likewise, as we are being molded into the very image of Jesus it’s the continual watering of the Word Of God that keeps us soft and shapable. The water is the key ingredient in molding the pot. But the heat is the key to keeping it from cracking. Firing clay is the most critical part of the ceramics process because it is the one thing that makes clay durable.
When the Lord turns up the heat know that there is a purpose in it... go with it and let the Lord have His way. For a vessel can be perfectly formed and beautiful but unless it’s put in the oven at a very high heat it won’t be of any use! “And we know that ALL things Word together for good to those that love God and are the called according to His purpose” Romans 8:28
