REFRESH 2024 WORKSHOPS
CALled to teach, michelle Randall
In my 30 years of teaching the Bible, I've learned a lot about preparing and presenting a Bible Study, mostly by making mistakes. But one thing stands above all the boo-boos and blunders of public speaking—a reliance upon the Holy Spirit. If you are a teacher of the Word of God, you have a great responsibility to present the unadulterated Word of God. In this workshop, we will learn how to prepare a Bible study in its context and how to present it with confidence.

Called to be second, Christine Magtoto
Has the Lord placed you in a supporting role? In this workshop, we will challenge you to assist your pastor's wife or other leader in their God-given role with impeccability, hospitality, creativity, generosity and gratefulness. When we give our time, our skills, our love, and our compassion, we experience the life-giving power of God enriching our lives and the lives of those we serve. "Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing" (Psalm 100:2).

Called to Develop, Connie Green
Your ministry is as effective or ineffective as your team. This is the good and bad news about building a strong group of servant leaders and servants. There are a few fundamental components to build and maintain a team that will be excited and equipped to further God’s Kingdom. In this break-out session, we will have fun delving into these components. Looking at the practices of Jesus and Paul, some topics of discussion will include purpose and vision, mindset replication, gifts and skills, training and support, team culture, and community.

Called to be a Servant, Briana Reyes
There are many examples of servanthood throughout the Bible; Nehemiah is one example. As a servant leader, he called men and women into positions to serve alongside him with the desire to strengthen the body. Matthew 23:11 tells us the greatest among them will be a servant of them all. May we respond to the call to serve as we look at some practical ways to serve well in our place on the wall.

Called to be faithful, shelly coronilla
As pastors’ wives and ministry leaders, we are constantly engaged in intense spiritual warfare. Our enemies will do all they can to wear us down and tempt us to lose heart. In this session, we will cover God’s marching orders afresh in His Word of encouragement (the Scriptures) to not merely survive the onslaught but thrive, and be faithful to the end (Galatians 6:9; 1 Corinthians 4:2).

Called to Love, debbie douglass
The role of pastor's wife or woman in ministry is a privilege and honor. But it can also be extremely painful for those who have had to deal with personal hurt and loss. In the midst of that pain, we as leaders must find the source whereby we can still love and minister the gospel of Christ, bringing Him glory, even when we ourselves are broken. Today we will learn some practical lessons that have helped many pastors’wives and leaders flourish, even in seasons of personal attack and pain.

Called to overcome, sandi stauffer
Many of us leaders are walking wounded from the battlefield of ministry. The enemy of the cross has devised schemes and strategies to destroy the work of God. Leaders are often the ones who get hit first in the battle. Come learn how you can heal and help others heal from battle wounds. "For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord" (Jeremiah 30:17a).
