Pastors Wives and Ministry Leaders, join us for this year’s conference: WILLING WARRIORS. We want you to leave encouraged to TAKE CHARGE as leaders in your ministry, not just at church but also at home, in schools and in your communities. Expect some powerful teaching starting with Friday night’s main session and Saturday’s 3 main sessions, workshops and breakout sessions to help equip and grow you for the call from Jesus!

Willing to Count the Cost, Allison Brechtel

Allison was raised in church but really recommitted her life to the Lord about 18 years ago. She has been married to her husband, Jon, for 17 years. They have three amazing sons, an awesome daughter-in-love, and a beautiful granddaughter. In 2017, Jon and Allison, along with their two younger boys, were sent out from Calvary SouthOC as missionaries in Mexico. In 2019 they planted Calvary Chapel Oaxaca where she serves alongside Jon who is the senior pastor.

Willing to Step in when it’s over your head, Briana Reyes

Briana Reyes is married to Art Reyes, senior pastor of Calvary Chapel of Downey. Together they started a once a week Bible study in their home in 2015. Through that study, Alive Christian Fellowship was founded, a young and vibrant church plant in the city of Rosemead. In 2021, the Lord called them to their new home, Calvary Chapel Downey. Briana has a passion for Gods word and pouring into the women, as she oversees the women’s ministry. She has three small children and is homeschooling her eldest son.

Willing to start over, Cheryl newberry

As a Calvary Pastor’s wife of almost 40 years, Cheryl has led many Women’s Bible Studies, Retreats, and Events throughout those years. When her and her husband, Bryan, began ministry in 1985 at Calvary Chapel San Diego, the Lord impressed upon her heart to make sure the women of the church were feeding on the Word everyday so that they would be equipped to be Christ-like as they served their husbands, families, and others. A daily communion with the Lord has been a strength that Cheryl found as a young girl, in that it was her most important life-line to function in this world. Walking closely with the Lord has allowed her to minister in many situations. As her ministry has evolved through the years, many aspects of sharing have taken place – internationally and in the United States, which includes ministering to those who are grieving over the loss of loved ones. In the last 6 years, she has helped develop Women’s Ministries in 3 different churches, as her and her husband have been helping various churches through the Poimen Ministry. They are now pastoring a Calvary Chapel in Los Alamitos, California. They have raised 4 children, and now have 7 grandchildren. So, life is full and running over!

June Hesterly has been married to Jim for 65 years, has 2 children, 5 grandkids, and four great grandchildren. She has been in ministry for fifty years, teaching, writing, and speaking at conferences, and currently serves on the pastor’s wives board.

I grew up in Huntington Beach, CA. At age 19, I was invited to church at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, where I accepted JESUS as my LORD & SAVIOR! I am married to Mark Galvan…(40yrs this October)! Mark was on staff at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa as the Jr. High pastor until the LORD called him to serve as the senior pastor of Calvary Chapel Lompoc, in Lompoc, California where we have been serving for over 36 years! I have loved being alongside my husband in ministry! We have three grown sons, two amazing daughter-in-laws, and five beautiful grandchildren! My life consists of attending church services four times a week, as well as overseeing the women’s ministry, which includes teaching, prayer, meetings, event, planning, and retreats – which I love! Along with ministry life, I’m so blessed to be able to hang out with my family a lot! Ballet soccer, Little League, games and babysitting over the years, oh and family dinner's which are chaotic and wonderful all at the same time, and hold a special place in my heart.

This conference is for women who are pastors wives and leaders who are involved in their church ministries including women’s ministry, worship, children, and youth ministries!

Price per attendee is $50.

Your registration includes 4 main sessions, workshops and breakout sessions,
breakfast and a catered lunch on Saturday!
