Oswald Chambers said;” The people that influence the most are not those who buttonhole(draw attention to) and talk to us, but those who live their lives like the stars in heaven and the lilies in the field, perfectly simply and unaffectedly. Those are the lives that mold us.”

As I read this I thought to myself; “Stars don’t try to be seen, they just are.They don’t have to shine, they just do—and lilies don’t strain to be beautiful they just are. Likewise, we as Believers don’t need to strive or strain to be seen, heard or noticed.

When we are rightly related to the Lord we automatically shine brightly for Him. We stand out amongst the darkest sky, and the most beautiful valley.

The world is watching us, looking for someone who will point them in the right direction, give them instruction, guidance—give them hope in a hopeless world. We, the Church have the answer—we have HOPE. Our HOPE is in JESUS the author and finisher of our faith(Hebrews 12:2). We hold the roadmap in our hands and we have the potential to influence the world in a bright and beautiful way. God has given us a unique opportunity—FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS!!! Are you taking advantage of your opportunities to share JESUS with the world around you? Are you shining bright for Him? Standing out amongst the rest? The most influential person in all History JESUS CHRIST lives inside you—what are you doing with Him?

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Hebrews 12:1
